Andrew Peters
Artistic Director

Hey! I’m Andrew, and if you haven’t gotten the chance to meet the company yet, then let me give you a lowdown. I’ve been founding Artistic Director since the inception of the company in 2009 – a few months prior to my graduation from Towson University’s theatre program.
I’ve been blessed with some really cool opportunities in the past couple of years – such as being part of the inaugural ensemble of Naoko Maeshiba’s movement-based piece, Paraffin, at Theatre Project, getting to Assistant Direct at CENTERSTAGE - twice! – and even being Single Carrot Theatre‘s program designer for the 2011/2012 Season.
Speaking of that last bit – yeah! I really get a kick out of doing graphic work, either through video or through poster/postcard design for theatre work. If you see our posters/postcards for Glass Mind, odds are it was designed by me; it’s just a passion I love bringing to the company
I like to bring that vibrant visual passion and aesthetic into work I direct, which is why it’s something I hope to really bring out of Glass Mind’s work as long as I serve as its Artistic Director. It’s always enriching to me when great theatre can make me sit back and appreciate the beauty of what I’m seeing live – I hope to be able to create those moments for others, too!
So, check out some of the other company members and get to meet them! It’s a great group of people, and I really hope you enjoy the work we bring to Baltimore and Station North.
